Scope: Silverlake Estate is an evolving luxury holiday home development set within the Dorset countryside, with individual properties being developed across a number of villages and plots.
Acorn works across the estate providing a flexible, comprehensive plastering and drylining service to support the construction of individual homes from initial installation through to finishing. Our scope varies from property to property, allowing us to respond to the specific requirements, design and specification of each build.

The Brewery
Location: Dorchester, Dorset
Scope: Originally built in 1880, The Brewery is one of Dorchester's most distinctive historic buildings and was transformed into 29 warehouse-style apartments. Acorn played a part in the careful conversion of this iconic building, delivering our plastering and drylining expertise within a project where the character of the existing structure is central to the finished development. Works commenced in 2020, it has brought a significant piece of Dorchester's built heritage into a new chapter as a collection of contemporary homes.
A Hammond & Sons
Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Scope: Acorn delivered the plastering and drylining package for the new Christchurch Baptist Church and community centre. Our works included drylining, plastering, partitions, ceilings and associated internal finishes across the new facility. Working alongside the main contractor and wider site team, we helped deliver the internal spaces to a high-quality finish within the project's 13-month programme. The £2.5m development now provides a modern, multi-purpose facility for the local community.
